LPA Workshops - Overwhelming Response in May 2025!
At Fingroup, we believe in empowering individuals to take charge of their future — and that belief came to life in May 2025, as we witnessed three back-to-back, full-house LPA workshops!
With over 50 participants attending each session, our LPA Certification Workshops exceeded expectations — so much so that we had to open additional dates to cater to the overwhelming demand.
A Growing Need, A Timely Response
As more Singaporeans begin to understand the importance of the Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), interest in making future-focused preparations has never been higher. At Fingroup, we are proud to step in as a trusted facilitator, making the LPA process clear, accessible and actionable.
Each session offered hands-on guidance, practical case discussions, and a professional LPA certification by Fingroup’s founder; Dr. Chow U-jin.
Full House, Full Hearts
Every session is hosted by estate succession planner; Terris Choo, who brought the topic to life using real life case studies and unravelling the pitfalls to LPA certification and a glimpse into will writing. The workshops brought together a diverse group of individuals — healthcare professionals, retirees, caregivers, and families — all united by a desire to plan wisely and responsibly.
Participants left not only with valuable knowledge, but with peace of mind, knowing they have taken a meaningful step toward securing their future.

A Day at Sea with the FinFam!
There is something incredible about stepping away from the hustle of daily work and trading it for open skies, rolling waves, and the laughter of people who have become more like family than colleagues.
This year, the FinFam chartered a yacht out to the Lazarus and Kusu Islands of southern Singapore!
From the moment we boarded the yacht, it was clear that everyone had their own version of “relaxation” in mind. Some of us settled in, ready for a calm and easy afternoon… while others dove straight into adventure – literally! From down the inflatable slide, to stand-up paddling across the glistening waters, the team never had the same kind of experience as before.
On top of that, we honoured and credited those who have performed outstandingly over the past year.
Our Most Memorable Outing Yet
What makes these outings special is not just the destination or the activities, but the people we share them with. We got to invite our close friends, kids and spouses to peek into what the team culture was like.
After a year of effort and growth, we found ourselves wishing the day lasted longer.
A huge thank you to Dr. U-Jin and the managers, whose generosity and leadership brought our team and families together for this unforgettable day.
