At Fingroup, we believe in empowering individuals to take charge of their future — and that belief came to life in May 2025, as we witnessed three back-to-back, full-house LPA workshops!
With over 50 participants attending each session, our LPA Certification Workshops exceeded expectations — so much so that we had to open additional dates to cater to the overwhelming demand.
A Growing Need, A Timely Response
As more Singaporeans begin to understand the importance of the Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), interest in making future-focused preparations has never been higher. At Fingroup, we are proud to step in as a trusted facilitator, making the LPA process clear, accessible and actionable.
Each session offered hands-on guidance, practical case discussions, and a professional LPA certification by Fingroup’s founder; Dr. Chow U-jin.
Full House, Full Hearts
Every session is hosted by estate succession planner; Terris Choo, who brought the topic to life using real life case studies and unravelling the pitfalls to LPA certification and a glimpse into will writing. The workshops brought together a diverse group of individuals — healthcare professionals, retirees, caregivers, and families — all united by a desire to plan wisely and responsibly.
Participants left not only with valuable knowledge, but with peace of mind, knowing they have taken a meaningful step toward securing their future.

28 August 2025 – We had the honour of conducting our signature LPA workshop at St James Church.
The session, led by Dr. Ujin and Terris, focused on clarifying common questions surrounding LPA applications, including the use of LPA Form 2 and the appointment of replacement donees.
These topics, often seen as complex, drew considerable interest from participants keen to ensure their future plans are made with clarity and confidence.
The workshop formed part of Fingroup’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness about estate planning and eldercare matters among the community. According to the organisers, the seniors requested for sessions on will writing and even on creation of trusts.
Participants welcomed the opportunity to ask questions in an open setting, with some sharing personal experiences about caring for elderly relatives. Attendees noted that the practical advice and step-by-step explanations made the subject easier to understand.
