LPA Workshops - Overwhelming Response in May 2025!
At Fingroup, we believe in empowering individuals to take charge of their future — and that belief came to life in May 2025, as we witnessed three back-to-back, full-house LPA workshops!
With over 50 participants attending each session, our LPA Certification Workshops exceeded expectations — so much so that we had to open additional dates to cater to the overwhelming demand.
A Growing Need, A Timely Response
As more Singaporeans begin to understand the importance of the Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), interest in making future-focused preparations has never been higher. At Fingroup, we are proud to step in as a trusted facilitator, making the LPA process clear, accessible and actionable.
Each session offered hands-on guidance, practical case discussions, and a professional LPA certification by Fingroup’s founder; Dr. Chow U-jin.
Full House, Full Hearts
Every session is hosted by estate succession planner; Terris Choo, who brought the topic to life using real life case studies and unravelling the pitfalls to LPA certification and a glimpse into will writing. The workshops brought together a diverse group of individuals — healthcare professionals, retirees, caregivers, and families — all united by a desire to plan wisely and responsibly.
Participants left not only with valuable knowledge, but with peace of mind, knowing they have taken a meaningful step toward securing their future.

As our LPA workshops gain awareness with the general public, our attendees begin to reflect and feedback on the insights they gained during the workshop.
We begin to realise how our workshops have impacted our attendees.
Participants may have come with prior knowledge on choosing their donee for their LPA. But after the workshop, they begin to realise a few blindspots; namely, choosing a donee that is older than them, or a donee who is a relative who does not know the preferences of the donor.
Some of our attendees also discovered the impact of having proper funding in place for their LPA to properly execute. We often think that choosing a donee is enough, but without proper funding, the financial burden falls unwillingly onto the donee, adding financial burden on top of the physical burden to plan and take care of the donor.
As we continue our LPA workshops, we hope to hear equally deep insights from our attendees as they take actionable steps to protect their future and give peace of mind to the next generation.
